National Super Alliance (NASA) Leader, Raila Odinga meeting with GEMA Business Community on Friday elicited some mix reactions from Kenyans given their past strain relationship with them.
But according to Raila, the meeting was meant to seek support from the community towards the Building Bridges Initiative.
"I attended a breakfast meeting hosted by the Gema Business Community. They have pledged their support for the Building Bridges initiative," read the statement in part.
Here are some of their reactions;
"Speaking for myself naumia sana hapa baba. Me I think some bridges are best burnt. #BuildingBridges," said Mwema menjo.
"What Kenya needs is a peaceful country and stable economy. That means Kenyans can work and put food on the table," said Onyango Ben.
"Absolutely! what those guys did to innocent Kenyans is inexcusable! I am still wondering where they even got those American @USAr Uniforms and why no one has looked into th to date," @crick_jerry noted.
"This statesman has become bae to everyone even those who were baying for his blood," @ matemurithi said."The day @RailaOdinga betrayed@MigunaMiguna is the day I understood that the end game of all this political shenanigans only benefits the political class," Tom Mule said.
"Congrats Mr. Rao for your effort in bringing this country together I like statesmanship shown by you," said Gibbs Odongo.
"You meet an outlawed group ofindividuals and you rush here to Twitter and shamelessly spit out. I can't comprehend how, why I supported your vision," Eliud Kemboi noted.
"God watch over us! We are now criminalisin acts/groups because of the 'handcheque'? @RailaOdinga you are stooping too low," said Ole Sayiankan.
