[Photo: Esther Passaris]Nairobi ODM candidate for Woman Representative post Esther Passaris found herself in trouble, as she accompanied her party leader to tour Kiambu.Raila Odinga took the Nasa campaign to the Central Kenya county, President Uhuru Kenyatta's home, also accompanied by co-principal Musalia Mudavadi, Koigi Wamwere among other local Nasa leaders. At one point as she addressed supporters in the county, Passaris was heckled after she criticised Deputy President William Ruto, saying he was a 'burden' to Uhuru. She was asking them not to vote for him, come 2022, as the president, since he had immensely contributed Jubilee government's poor leadership."William Ruto is the burden of president Uhuru. I want to tell you that, do not vote for him in 2022. How many are agreeing with me?" Passaris asked the crowd, which had started heckling her, waving "No".This forced her to change her campaign strategy for Nasa, and asked Kiambu locals to support Raila's bid.Passaris who left her troubled party for ODM, seeks to unseat incumbent Nairobi Woman Representative, Jubilee's Rachael Shebesh, who is as well seeking re-election.
