It has emerged that lawyer Miguna Miguna has left Dubai International Airport for Toronto Canada.
Miguna was stranded at the airport since Thursday last week when he was deported after allegedly failing to cooperate with Immigration officials at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
While in Dubai, Miguna claimed that he was unable to travel, because his travel documents including Canadian passport had been confiscated by the state.
However, it has emerged that Miguna produced his Canadian passport before boarding his flight to Toronto.
It is not clear whether Miguna had the passport on him or it was indeed confiscated.
The lawyer had claimed that before being deported, security officials drugged him and forced him to board an Emirates plane.
The court had earlier ordered that he be allowed in the country unconditionally.
