Baringo Senator Gideon Moi will surely beat Deputy President William Ruto in the approaching 2022 presidential race, through embarking on a paralysis campaign against the DP as early as now.

By using his father, former President Daniel Moi's influence to drum up support for his bid, Gideon is sure of garnering about a half of the Kalenjin vote.

This will leave Ruto struggling to acquire the remaining half, a section of which still remains allied to the opposition including Maasai land and Turkana, an easy target for Moi as Ruto remains the most unlikely candidate to win in any opposition bedrock.

Daniel Moi has also been named as one of the silent powers behind President Uhuru Kenyatta's presidency, and will, under Gideon's pressure, convince Kenyatta into dropping his backing for his deputy and endorse Gideon instead.

By going ahead to pull opposition leader Raila Odinga, who will certainly support him against Ruto, Moi will be assured of millions of votes from Odinga's Luo Nyanza, Kisii, Western and parts of North Eastern support bases.

Having spent most of his time behind the political scene, unlike Ruto who has always been on the spotlight, resulting to collisions with opposition leaders who as well represent millions of voters, Moi is at an advantage and is an easy sell to opposition supporters.

Ruto has made many political enemies in the course of his deputy head of state tenure, making him a hard sell to a section of Kenyans, an advantage to Moi who is yet to offend anyone.

Also, the Kenyatta-Ruto leadership has presided over some shocking multi-billion graft scandals, including the NYS and Eurobond sagas, dimming Ruto's hopes, with a section of Kenyans being of the opinion that he will fuel the continuation of the same.

Deputy President William Ruto stands no chance against Gideon Moi should the two face off come 2022.
