Migori Governor Okoth Obado on Wednesday revealed why he will be seeking re-election during the next general election.
According to Obado, he wants to be re-elected in order to pay loans he acquired and if he fails to make governor next year, he will plunge into a serious financial crisis.
The county boss made the revelation Wednesday when addressing nurses who have threatened to down tools over non-remitted loan deductions.
Obado said that just like nurses, he was a worried man about loans he borrowed from two banks. Obado who recently joined ODM will be seeking to assume a second term in office where he will battle it out with former Energy Minster Ayako Ochilo.
