Former Kanu operative Sharrif Nassir's son Abdulswamad Sharrif on Thursday accompanied Raila Odinga to retired president Daniel Moi's home at Kabarak, Nakuru.
Raila had visited Mzee Moi to say pole after the retired president underwent a knee surgey in Israel weeks ago.
During the introductions, the MP jogged Moi's memory to his heydays when 'Ganu was Chama cha Baba na Mama'.
In a video, Moi is seen asking who the MP is.
One of Moi's handlers, switches to Kalenjin vernacular and tells him the MP is the son of his one time buddy.
Moi all of a sudden glows and laughs.
Sharrif Nassir was one of the fiercest backers of Moi and his Kanu regime.
With Sharrif Nassir at the coast, the likes of JJ Kamotho in central, Dickson Kihika Kimani in Nakuru, Ezekiel Barng'etuny in Uasin Gishu among other 'Kanu boys', Mzee Moi believed Kanu would rule for 100 years!
