Reports have emerged that Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has already started to prepare to become NASA’s presidential flag bearer.

The Opposition coalition is expected to name its candidate by the end of March.

ODM’s Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka of Wiper and Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetangula are all seeking NASA’s presidential ticket.

The four co-principals appointed a 12-member technical committee, headed by Siaya Senator James Orengo, to identify the strongest candidate to take on Jubilee Party’s Uhuru Kenyatta come August 8.

According to the Star, Mudavadi is not leaving anything to chance as NASA gears up to to unveil its flag bearer.

“It is said the Amani leader has already started to sort himself out as NASA unveils its flagbearer by month's end. Corridors has been told Mudavadi's Presidential Secretariat has already launched his security apparatus to ensure his safety once he is handed the baton. And it is awesome,” reports the Star.
