[Photo/PSCU]Nakuru County Governor Lee Kinyanjui has welcomed the move by President Uhuru Kenyatta to nominate 22 Cabinet Secretaries to serve in his second and final term.Kinyanjui said although Nakuru had high expectations to get a CS post, he has confidence the broad-based cabinet will help Uhuru shape his legacy.He described the nominees as people of strong character and wide experience in their respective fields, adding they are equal to task."I urge the new appointees to work for the agenda that has been set before them and give the President all the necessary support," the governor said.Echoing same sentimemts, Nakuru Town East MP David Gikaria said the appointments were made in a balanced manner and congratulated Uhuru for nominating former Subukia legislator Nelson Gaichuhie to his government."The new Cabinet has factored in regional and gender balance. I am optimistic the men and women nominated will help the President deliver to Kenyans," Gikaria said.Gaichuhie was given a post of the newly created Chief Administrative Secretary in the Ministry of National Treasury.
