Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party leader Raila Odinga has vowed that the Opposition will protect the presidential votes from rigging during the August polls.
Speaking on Tuesday during a Youth forum at Orange House, the former premier announced that the Opposition will use the "adopt a polling station" mechanism, whereby the outfit will have at least 10 agents in every polling station.
“You are soon going to get information on how to adopt a polling station,” he said.
According to Mr Odinga, the strategy also seeks to ensure that all Opposition supporters cast their votes.
“At every polling station, we will have a team of not less than 10 people. Every polling station must be manned and we must have somebody there whose telephone number is known at the secretariat for daily communication with the centre," he noted.
He further exuded confidence that the Opposition NASA will beat Jubilee Party during the next general elections, stating that the coalition is enjoying a strong support base countrywide.
“We have the numbers. We have what it takes to win the elections," he said.
