Opposition coalition NASA has maintained that no elections will be held on October 26 despite IEBC's continued affirmation that they are prepared for the repeat polls.
Speaking during an interview on Saturday, NASA leader Raila Odinga declared that the country will not be holding any elections on October 26.
Despite the emphasis, many have been left gazing on how the Opposition intends to stop the polls.
However, speaking on Friday, former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale and his predecessor Cleophas Malala stated that NASA supporters will camp at polling stations on the Eve of Election Day to prevent elections from taking place.
“We were earlier telling our people to vote for our candidate Raila Odinga, but now we’re telling them that there will be no election without Raila on the ballot,” Malala said.
On their part, President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto have said that they are prepared for the repeat elections, challenging the NASA leadership to face them in the ballot.
