[Photo|citizen digital]President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee Party is the biggest beneficiary in the 12th parliament Nominations.The party beat its main rival, the National Super Alliance (Nasa), which has five affiliate parties, and took almost all Nomination seats for Members of Parliament.Basing on the gazetted names, by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), Jubilee took 16 seats out of the 32 posts, therefore leading as the party with majority members in both National and Senate Assemblies.At the National Assembly, Jubilee Nominated six members who include;1. Immediate Starehe MP, Maina Kamanda -represents Special Interest groups.2. Immediate Runyenjes MP, Cecily Mbarire - represents Special Interest groups.3. Advocate Jeniffer Shamalla - represents Special Interest groups.4. Gideon Keter - represents the youth.5. Mucheke Halima Yussuf - represents workers.6. NCPLWD chairman David ole Sankok - represents persons with disabilities.For National Assembly members, Nasa also had six posts to share amongst its affiliate parties, ODM, ANC, Wiper Democratic Movement-Kenya, Ford Kenya and CCM. However, CCM received no post.Raila Odinga's ODM party clinched three seats.1. Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) Secretary General Wilson Sossion - represents workers.2. Denitah Ghati - represent persons with disability.3. Prof Jacquiline Adhiambo Oduol - represents marginalised women.Musalia Mudavadi's ANC, Kalonzo Musyoka's Wiper and Moses Wetangula's Ford Kenya took one National Assembly posts, each.ANC: Godfrey Osotsi - represents workers.Wiper: Sammy Kipkorir Seroney - represents workers.Ford Kenya: Nasri Sahal Ibrahim - represents minority.In the Senate Assembly Nominations, Jubilee Party clinched 10 posts, eight women and two men. The Nominated senators include:1. Millicent Omanga2. Beth Mugo3. Naomi Jilo Wago4. Milgo Alice Chepkorir5. Christine Zawadi Gona6. Farhiya Ali Haji7. Mary Yiane Senata8. Falhada Dekow Iman9. Isaac Mwaura - persons with disabilities.10. Prengei Victor - youth.At the Senate, ODM took seven seats, while ANC, Wiper and Gideon Moi's KANU took one post each.ODM Nominated senators include;1. Former EALA MP, Judith Ramaita Pareno2. Beatrice Kwamboka Makori3. Rose Ogendo Nyamunga4. Mercy Chebeni5. Masitsa Naomi Shiyonga - youth.6. Getrude Musuruve Inimah - persons with disabilities.Others include;Petronila Were Lokorio - ANCSylvia Mueni Kasanga - WiperAbshiro Soka Halake - KANU IEBC published their names in the Kenya Gazette Notice No. 8379, dated August 25, 2017.
