[Photo/the-star.co.ke]The contentious election amendments bill which aims at reducing the influence of the IEBC chairman while entrenching the manual system of results transmission could actually work in favor of the National Super Alliance (NASA), a Jubilee MP has revealed.Speaking at a breakfast show on Citizen TV Friday, Gilgil MP Martha Wangari defended the proposals which generated tempers in Parliament on Thursday saying they would actually help the Opposition coalition to overcome constant electronic vote rigging which they have always complained about."Actually some of these amendments will help NASA greatly. Like the manual system will help them narrow down their blame solely to the IEBC and not Safaricom and the ballot printing firms as they have done," she said. The former nominated senator at the same time slammed Opposition leader Raila Odinga for allegedly faulting every agency that contributed in the August 8 polls, terming him a bitter loser.
