Ngilu, NARC Kenya candidate, could not hide her joy after flooring the incumbent Dr. Julius Malombe in one of the toughest political contests at the county level. 

The lawmaker invited her supporters to her home where they celebrated her historic win after several months of campaign. The vocal politician took time to share food with the residents in celebration of her win. 

Ngilu and the incumbent governor have been at loggerheads since she declared her interest in the seat. The outspoken legislator has been launching attack after attack against the current county government leadership. 

According to Ngilu, Malombe has failed to keep his pre-election promises. The lawmaker has assured her local residents that she will transform their lives once she takes over power from Malombe. 

Malombe had floored Kitui Senator David Musila during Wiper nominations. Among the area’s Ngilu has promised to address include water, health and Security among others. 

The newly elected governor has also assured the residents that she will work with other leaders from the region to ensure development in this part of the nation.
