There is no doubt that Nyota Ndogo is one of the wealthiest musicians at the Coast.

The song bird attributes her wealth to hard work and commitment.

The melodious voiced singer belongs to the league of Susumila, Akothee and Ally B, when it comes to wealth.

She recently got married to a Danish man in a traditional wedding that left many Kenyans on social media talking for weeks.

Hate her or love her, money is not a problem to Nyota Ndogo.

The Subira Yangu hit maker narrated how she rose from grass to grace within a few years in the entertainment industry, saying it was not a walk in the park.

According to the Watu na Viatu singer, she owns various businesses as well as properties in different parts of the country.

If you thought Nyota Ndogo’s wealth is entirely from music, then you are very wrong.

In an exclusive interview with the Word IS, the Coast-based artist said she has invested in real estate.

"I used all the money I had in the bank to buy my first piece of land. At the time, I was pregnant with my second child and I had my son to feed as well. But I did not panic, I knew I would get shows that would bring in money," said Nyota Ndogo.

The songstress said at the beginning she was forced to book two shows per day in a bid to make more money from her talent.

It is inspiring to note that even when she was pregnant, Nyota Ndogo was still hitting the road to perform in different clubs in Mombasa and other cities.

Indeed, talent pays.
