Busia governorship loser Paul Otuoma has sensationally claimed that ODM leader Raila Odinga failed to give him ‘protection’ when he needed it most.
Served as ODM MP for Funyula for a decade, Otuoma bolted out of the party he founded following the alleged bungled ODM primaries for Busia governorship.
And at Funyula on Monday, Otuoma accused Odinga of allowing unnamed characters within the party to ‘malign’ his reputation.
“A party that is surrounded by cannibals who are good at witch hunting. They work day and night to have someone fall their prey,” he said.
“Yet, someone who you call Baba (Raila Odinga) does not even bother to protect you. He just sits and watches people descending on you for no good reason.”
Prior to nominations, a fake publication purportedly by Daily Nation linked Otuoma with an association with Jubilee party thus portraying him as a mole.
He vied as an Independent in Busia governorship to Sospeter Ojaamong of ODM prior to his exit to Jubilee party on Monday.
