Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Party leader Raila Odinga has urged candidates gunning for the party's ticket to remain United after the primaries.
Speaking in Mombasa over the weekend, the NASA co-principal noted that the party nominations could break or make the party.
He also cautioned candidates against hiring hooligans to disrupt the process.
"If you are not satisfied with outcome, follow the laid down procedures of resolving disputes. Don't hire youths or hooligans because this hurts women candidates and disadvantages them,” the Sunday Nation quoted him.
“Let us give consensus a chance where possible. The aim is to fight a common enemy — Jubilee — with the strongest teams. Let's end our internal wrangles," he added.
Mr Odinga further observed that the party does not have any preferred candidate, pledging that the party would hold free, fair and credible primaries.
