They say that the role played by the organization in the area in dealing with HIV/Aids infections is worth commending.

Tobias Onyango, a resident of Manyatta slum says that HIV/Aids infected people in the area have found solace in the organization.

According to him, in the past, infected people in the area were isolated as no one was interested in caring for them.

This he says has now changed as OGRA foundation has been near the infected people giving all that they require.

"This organization has proved to be the serious one we have here. Most of the groups here have found help through OGRA foundation. The care that these people have been given is worth commending. For in the past, they were left on their own to die. But since it cane here, things are a little bit different," said Mr. Onyango.

Even to Daniel Otieno, the impact of OGRA foundation in HIV/Aids management in Kisumu has raised the hopes of those who had otherwise lost hope in life after many years of neglect.

This he says is a life-changer and he is only expecting things to get better and better.

According to OGRA foundation Chairman Mr Tobias Odhiambo Oyare, the organization is dedicated to maintaining the well-being of HIV/Aids infected groups in the area.

He  says through HIV/Aids care and treatment, it is possible to restore the hope in the lives of residents who are infected.

He further adds that the organization is keen to eliminate the cases of mother-child HIV/Aids transmission as a way to fight the scourge.

"OGRA Foundation is committed to ensuring that lost hope here is restored through the care we give to all those who are infected. We appeal to all those who have similar problems to come out and never shy away," said Mr Odhiambo on Monday.
