A post-mortem of international rugby star Mike Okombe has revealed how he died.
The Wednesday autopsy revealed that the star player died of internal bleeding after being stabbed four times in different parts of his body.
According to a report released by Government Pathologist Titus Ngulungu to Okombe's family, the player sustained four wounds on the chest, head, back and cheek.
His father Josephat Shitindo Okombe revealed that the deep stab on the right of his chest was the main cause of the death.
“His body was badly injured with four stabs and bruises all over his back and shoulder,” he said as reported by Nation.
“According to the pathologist, he may have died majorly because of the deep stab on his chest that destroyed ligaments leaving huge holes.”
