A NASA political strategist has come out with sensational revelations regarding what transpired in the hours leading up to the mock inauguration of NASA supremo Raila Odinga.
According to Mr. Barrack Muluka, there was an agreement amongst the principals that they would switch off their phones and Raila would call them through a Nigerian number.
To the shock of the other principals, that expected call never came only for them to see Raila Odinga at the iconic Uhuru Park hours later to their chagrin.
''Raila knows that this is the truth of God. He asked the other principals to switch off their phones and promised to call them through a Nigerian number. That call never came. When we called him to ask him what was happening he said that he was marooned. We asked by who and he said,'' These people.'' We later saw him at Uhuru Park. We know there is an attempt to throw out the window a deal between the NASA parties saying that ODM cannot field a candidate in 2022. We are not cowards,'' an evidently livid Muluka said.
Muluka was speaking during a live panel discussion on a mainstream television programme yesternight.
According to him the apparent betrayal by Raila was calculated to paint the other principals in a bad light.
The super-charged revelations now add another mind-bending twist to the swearing-in debacle that has been the subject of great debate and controversy amongst the opposition's rank and file.
The revelations now shatter into a thousand pieces the narrative that was being bandied around that the three principals had chickened out of the swearing-in.
