Two days after Nasa held a political rally in Bomet county on Saturday, political pundits have been talking about the event and its impact on the ruling Jubilee Party and August 8th general elections. On Sunday, political analyst professor Herman Manyora weighed into the matter while articulating the politics of Nasa on national tv.Manyora stated that Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto is still weighing his options before he comes out clear on his relationship with the opposition coalition."He is still testing the water because it could be risky for him. Kipsigis and Bomet land is Jubilee's you make a mistake and you go home. Ruto is not a fool he is still weighing whether the Rift Valley Jubilee person is able to turn and become Nasa," said Manyora. The professor also suggested that there is still hope that Nasa can win big in Rift Valley."This election could be decided by Rift Valley and Raila and his team are banking on what could go on in the region if they tilt just a bit like in Baringo and West Pokot and perhaps the Kipsigis land game over for Jubilee," said Manyora. However, the professor still doubted the impact of Nasa in Rift Valley currently.
