The veteran politician has repeatedly lost in his previous bids, but has attributed three of his four defeats to rigging by the government side.
To realize his bid in the approaching 2022 general elections, the former Prime Minister who has earned himself a spot among the nation's most popular and celebrated politicians has to begin by sealing all loopholes to ensure that his victory is safe.
He should avoid encounters with leaders drawn from the rival Jubilee side as the same is likely to give his rivals reasons to frame propaganda against him, a technique that they can then easily use to taint his reputation resulting to another loss, as in politics, only one offensive word can cost one a seat.
He could also embark on a strong campaign as early as now as though there are ongoing calls upon politicians to stop politicking, there is no law barring him from endorsing and popularizing his bid. By making his candidature popular, he will have created awareness which could translate to votes.
He also has to once again mobilize and surround himself with a network of strong leaders like was the case in the 2007 general election Pentagon which brought together other 4 leaders. He should consider bringing together leaders from all points of the nation to give an all inclusive image.
Having never been at the helm of the government, Odinga has every reason to point a finger and pick the wrong deeds in both the current and the past governments and clearly brief Kenyans on the measures he will take to solve them.
By so doing, Kenyans are likely to fully back him as every Kenyan desires a spotless leadership away from the graft scandals and human right violation cases that have been rocking the nation lately.
Odinga has repeatedly garnered millions of votes in the last polls, failing by only a few hundreds of thousands of votes and will be announced the winner should he manage to only attract a million votes from the rival's basket.
