New details have emerged regarding the controversial swearing-in of NASA leader Raila Odinga on Tuesday at Uhuru.
There were fears that Raila alongside other NASA co-principals would be subjected under house arrest to prevent them from accessing Uhuru Park for the event.
The event was only attended by Raila alone since other principals were nowhere to be found.
According to the Standard, Raila did sleep at his Karen home on Monday night over fears the Jubilee government could attempt to block him from accessing Uhuru Park for their big event.
The paper reports that Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi slept in their respective homes on Monday night.
It is alleged that other NASA principals 'chickened out' of the swearing-in just hours to the event.
Standard further reports that the other three principals went to an extent of ignoring calls from Raila regarding the matter.
NASA has maintained that the swearing in of Raila alone was tactical move.
