President Uhuru Kenyatta has once again hit on NASA flag bearer Raila Odinga claiming that the former Prime Minister is inciting Kenyans to violence over his latest utterances and stand offs.

Uhuru said Odinga is treading on a path that will drive the country back to the post election violence experienced in 2007/08.

"Yesterday he was talking about 'wenye inchi' and 'wenye wanafaa kurudi kwao' (those who belong and those who should return to where they came from) ... and that is the same language he used to create conflict last time," Uhuru said on Friday.

He was speaking during a campaign tour in Bomet.

This is the second time Uhuru has alleged that Odinga is propagating ethnic violence in the country after he claimed the same in March where he even accused Odinga of igniting the 2007/08 violence.

“He promoted politics of what he called '40 tribes against one'. Now, he is talking about '40 against two',”said Uhuru in March.

"Raila has again started inciting Kenyans as he did in 2007 thus framing DP William Ruto. Yeye ndiyo aliwasha moto (He is the one who ignited the fire," said Uhuru in Nyamira.

However, Odinga has frequently dismissed Uhuru's sentiments terming them as desperate claims.

The 2007/08 violence left at least 1,300 dead and more than 600,000 homeless.
