Former Garissa Township parliamentary aspirant Farah Maalim has asked NASA leader Raila Odinga not to vie for presidency in 2022.
He said the ODM party leader should honour the agreement reached between the four NASA affiliate parties - ODM, WDM-K, ANC and Ford Kenya, in the run up to the 2017 general elections.
Raila was to vie in 2017, and support WDM-K's Kalonzo in 2022.Maalim who is also WDM-K vice chairperson, said NASA would go nowhere if Raila intends to vie for presidency once again.
"If Raila is hellbent to run for presidency in 2022, Nasa is as dead as a dodo," Maalim said during an interview on a local TV station, on Monday morning.
On February 12, Wiper tweeted that Maalim had said "We do no see Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka getting sworn-in."
He also said Nasa could likely not survive and that Wiper's focus was now on 2022.
The former National Assembly Deputy Speaker also slammed the ruling Jubilee party, saying it was surviving because of NASA.
"Jubilee is together as long as this Nasa thing still exists. The moment Nasa goes separate ways, then Jubilee will also crumble," he noted.
