[Photo|Anyang Nyong'o]Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang' Nyong'o hosted Gor Mahia players and technical team dinner at the Grand Royal Swiss Hotel, Saturday night.He presented cash present to the players additional to the hotel bookings and meals he catered for them through the county government.He congratulated the players for their SportPesa Premier League win and appreciated their technical team led by their chair Ambrose Rachier. Also present was Homa Bay Governor Cyprian Awiti who presented cash worth Sh500,000 from NASA leader Raila Odinga. He also presented balls and a pairs of uniform to the chairman.Also present was Kisumu Senator Fred Outa, County Secretary Olang'o Onudi, Chief Staff Patrick Ouya, Director Protocol Bob Madanji and Director Administration Abala Wanga.The team has made history as it has now won the league a record of 16 times.The team received its trophy from Nyong'o in a colourful ceremony shortly after completing its match with Sony Sugar Saturday in Kisumu.The teams scored 2-2, giving Gor victory at Moi Stadium.
