National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale has said that he was shocked opposition leaders urging Kenyans to contribute to their campaign kitty.
According to Duale, Kenyans should not fall for the alleged plot.
During the presser, Raila Odinga and co principal Kalonzo Musyoka called on Kenyans to contribute through a pay bill number.
Speaking to members of the press at Parliament buildings, Duale stated that it was a shame for NASA leader Raila Odinga to ask for money instead of votes.
"It is a con. Don't trust them.I was shocked to see a principal (Raila) seeking donation instead of votes and coprincipal (Kalonzo Musyoka) holding a banner,” said Duale.
"They should stop press conferences and fundraising," he remarked”.
Duale further stated that Odinga joined the presidential race to make money.
"Kenyans must ignore these fraudsters. This is gambling and even cartels that were funding them have left," he added.
