Deputy President William Ruto is the latest leader to make fun of Kirinyaga Deputy governor Peter Ndumbiri after his explicit video leaked.
In the vídeo, Ndumbiri was naked with a woman believed to be a married woman.
Ruto called on governors to ensure that their deputies have roles to prevent such incidents.
"I want to tell my brothers and sisters Governors; the devil is a very bad man and can cause a lot of damage with an idle mind. To avoid the great risk of the devil engaging idle minds in your offices because you have kept your deputies jobless, please it is important that the relationship between governors and their deputies is worked out," said Ruto.
"This will ensure that the devil does not have the space to use any idle mind to drive any evil agenda. And I am not being specific to a situation. In fact, I want to caution you that it is unlawful to watch films that have not been sanctioned by the Kenya Films Classification Board (KFCB)," Ruto said as the crowd cheered.
Ruto was speaking when he closed the devolution conference.
