Parents have raised concern about the safety of their children in school as the fire incidents continue in various schools.
Following the twin fire incident at St Andrews, Kaggwa boys boarding primary in Nyansiongo parents have raised an alarm about the safety of their children in schools.
After the second arson attempt was thwarted at around 3.30 Pm the school management ordered parents to go with their children for one week for their safety.
One of the schools dormitories was set ablaze on Monday and a second attempt happened on Tuesday afternoon as the school top management was in a meeting making parents fear for their children t safety in the school.
Speaking to the reporter, Duncan Mokaya said the fire incidents in schools are worrying.
"We are wondering what is going on in our school and now we fear about the safety of our children, we need this issues to be addressed and measures put in place by the ministry," he said.
They have called upon the stakeholders to come up with measures by conducting doing an investigation on the cause of the fire in schools.
