The Salgaa blackspot is becoming a nightmare to travellers after nerve-wrenching crashes that left many lives lost.
Many travellers are now passing through the route with their fingers crossed as other recite a prayer to Almighty Father asking for protection against all the evil.
And nothing captures the fear of passengers than a post doing rounds on social media that a group of passengers travelling from Eldoret to Nairobi were so afraid to be driven along the Salgaa stretch that they decided to alight from their bus and walk.
The author of the post said the passengers, upon reaching the 14-kilometre Salgaa stretch, forced their driver to stop, they alighted and asked be picked after they are through with the notorious stretch that has witnessed lots of accidents.
