Jubilee Party aspirants in Mombasa County have put in place an elaborate strategy to ensure victory in the forthcoming general election.
Among the plans Jubilee will use is a string of political rallies which governor hopeful Suleiman Shahbal said will become intense and will start after the party nominations.
He added that the rallies will be held every weekend - on Saturdays and Sundays - until the election date.
“It will be a marathon,” Shahbal said on Thursday as quoted by the Star.
Shahbal is seeking to unseat Governor Hassan Joho of ODM in the upcoming polls.He was upbeat his Jubilee team will deliver come August 8, and bring about the desired change in Mombasa.
Shahbal who until Tuesday was the chairman of Gulf African Bank, added that they been holding campaigns at the grassroots to woo voters.
Anania Mwaboza, Shahbal's running mate, said the rallies will give the Jubilee team a win in the August 8 elections.
“We have put in place a winning strategy. We will take over Mombasa in August,” stated Mwaboza.
The two were addressing journalists in Shanzu on the sidelines of a training programme for 179 Jubilee Party aspirants in Mombasa County.
