The ethics and anti-corruption commission, EACC had announced that it will conduct a lifestyle audit for senior government officials as a step towards uprooting the corruption menace in the country.
No one took this announcement seriously like those implicated in corruption scandals and the single women who have been hunting for husbands.
While the former did not take the announcement with a welcoming heart because they feared their ill-gotten wealth will be confiscated by the state, the later took the announcement as their only refuge to finding a well-off husband.
Whenever the EACC appear on the media to report on the lifestyle audit results of senior government officials, the single women would pay close attention and take notes.
The wealth of these officials would be laid in the open, including the amounts they have in the bank, properties like land, houses and cars.
Which woman would not be happy to know the much her husband is worth? The idea of lifestyle audit is not bad after all.
