Kabati residents are still reeling in shock after police arrested 14 students in the area who were allegedly in a wild party where underage sex and drugs were served freely.
“The students who included primary school girls were allegedly having sex, drinking alcohol and smoking bhang before police moved in and arrested them,” said a teacher who asked not to be named.
A parent of one of the involved student said they were shocked by the incident.
The parent said their children had informed them that they were camping at a nearby church as they prepared for a music competition.
“We are still reeling in shock because our children told us that they were going to church, only to be informed that they had been arrested,” said the parent.
Naivasha sub-county commissioner said the incident is regretable.
“Officers from the education office and the security officers are currently handling the issue by speaking to the students and their parents,” said Mr Isaac Masinde, the commissioner.
