Being a husband does not only mean having a wife but what you do to make your wife feel like she has the best to call a husband. Be that special person she will always cling to when conditions get harsh. As God's word states, a husband has to protect the wife. Below are some tips to becoming the best husband for her as in the Bible;
Bond with her
Love brings about bonding and bonding means being one. The two of you left your parents to join each other in a lifetime journey. Biblically according to Matthew 19:5-6, “‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate." You, therefore, have to bind with her and make her feel protected and cared for, be one flesh.
Honor her
The sacred book, the Bible in 1st Peter 3:7 urges man to honor her wife for being the weaker sex. “Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered." Honor her just like you would want her to honor you. Obey God's call for man to honor his wife.
Understand her
Women need to be understood, they need their explanations to have meaning to the husband. The Bible in 1st Peter 3:7 above encourages men to "dwell with them with understanding" and equally honor them. Love comes with understanding and so if you truly love your woman then you have to equally understand her.
Satisfy her sexually
God made man and woman and He created sex to strengthen the marriage bond. Biblically God, created sex so that man and woman would multiply and fill the Earth. Genesis 1:28, "...be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it..." A husband should, therefore, make his wife see sex as sacred as it is in the Bible and not as self-fulfillment.
Always be faithful to her
Marriage is a covenant between man and wife and with God. A husband should always be faithful in every way even in the mind. Biblically according to Matthew 5:28, "But I say to you that every one who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart." The Bible condemns unfaithfulness in marriage, making a good husband will, therefore, mean you have to heed to the regulations given by the Bible regarding being faithful in marriage.
