It is known that spending a lot of time with an individual can cause you to pick up their habits. Well, don't most parents spend a substantial amount of time with their children? It is not only your child's friends that can shape their behavior but you too.
Parents who swear a lot, hurl insults or use generally vulgar language can have their children pick this up. Children at a young age haven't made many contacts with the world. What they find daddy and mummy doing and saying is one of their first lessons.
Hostile behaviors like fighting, throwing things and uncontrollable rage from parents are things that children take in. It might not be your child's fault that they tend to be violent but that they got it from watching to you.
Traits like selfishness, jealousy, lying, irresponsibility, and indiscipline can be borrowed by children from parents.
