A lot of people struggle with low self-esteem. One can look at all their mistakes and failures and over time belittle their self-worth. This is extremely unhealthy but one can find positive things to boost themselves.

Look at your talent, abilities, skills, education, moral standing and start to realize that you do have something to offer.

Don't wait for others to praise you. Learn to compliment yourself. This constant dependent on what you think about yourself gives your opinion power. Even when others say negative things about you, the positive things you say to yourself take precedence.

Public speaking is a great way to keep your confidence in check. Having an audience (no matter how small) taking time to listen and appreciate what you have to offer is a morale-builder. It makes you feel that you matter.

Try to be okay with being misunderstood. There's a lot of people who can't see things the way you do. And that shouldn't be a problem! You're a unique person, with a different mindset and vast experiences that no one else has. Trying to fit into people's ways can leave you feeling left behind. It's not necessary for you to fit in but to just be yourself.

For any negative things dragging you down, take time to solve them and don't be hard on yourself. Humans make mistakes!
