Its everyone's hope to land a job and have fantastic managers—bosses who helped us succeed, who made us feel valued, and who were just all-around great people. But in most cases, the opposite happens. There is a boss that is so harsh that you feel like quitting but you consider your salary. What do you do to overcome such harsh working conditions created by your boss? Here are some of the tips to help you tolerate your boss.
Identify conflict areas. Find the cause of this challenge, is it time of reporting to work? Is it overworking? Avoid areas of conflict and in most cases let him win but never let him/her violate your sexually.
Act as a leader. When dealing with an incompetent boss, sometimes it's best to make some leadership decisions on your own.If you know your area well enough, there is no reason to not go ahead creating and pursuing a direction you know will achieve good results for your company. People who do this are naturally followed by their peers as an informal leader. Management, although maybe not your direct boss, will notice your initiative. Of course, you don’t want to do something that undermines your boss, so keep him or her in the loop.
Set your own boundaries. It will be very hard for your boss to bother you if you have created your limits. Avoid close contacts with him/her do your part to impress no one including your boss.
Stop assuming your boss knows everything. This will give less chance of giving in to his/her deviance demands from you. Being your boss does not mean he can control your life his area of jurisdiction is only working area the rest it's your life.
Understand your boss motivation.Understand the best field your boss cares about. Be a proposer of his ideas if they are meant to improve the company or business. Be positive about his/her ideas and policies, respect them and you will hardly collide.
