The rate at which banks are collapsing or being put under receivership in this country has put everyone with some coins in any bank on alert mode.
No one knows which bank collapses next and it is only good and advisable that everyone with a bank account starts taking precautionary measures before the 'lightning' strike.
So, what are some of these measures?
Put your money under the mattress. It is often said that you should never trust anyone with your money, not even the banks. Let the only collapse that interferes with your money's 'peace' be that of your bed.
Buy a piggy bank or use a tin at home.
Before the banks came and started 'stealing' from us in the name of keeping our money safe, we had an efficient banking system in our homes where money was put inside a totally enclosed cylinder through a small hole at the top.
At least it was safe from mites. Put your money in the form of assets. Something like a plot will earn you a lot of money within a short time more than a bank would do in years.
Hide your money in offshore accounts as the world's powerful and richest do. Panama Papers have revealed how these people simply do not trust their local banking systems.
