Cholera is a deadly disease that kills within 24 hours if medical care is not provided. Chorela is associated with dirty food and drinks.
With the current outbreak of the disease in Nairobi, it has claimed the lives of several patients and hundred of others admitted in various hospitals.
Cholera however can be prevented through:
Eating clean foods and water: its is spread mainly through contaminated food and drinks hence and thjs accounts for 90% way of infection. Make sure you drink clean treated water where by boiling is the best method. Always cook food well to kill the chorea bacteria that might be present in the food.
Always seek medical attention once it's suspected: chorela kills within 24 hours if proper medical attention is not catered for. In case of chorela infection, always make sure it is treated effectively. Chronic diahorrea is one of the symptoms and later dehydration.
Always make sure you live in a clean environment, to avoid chorela breaks. With overflowing sewage, this exposes the spread of the disease. Always report leaking sewages to the authority for furter control.
Preventing will always be better that treating hence it is our responsibility to make sure we fight Chorela.Keep high
