Although pregnancy comes with a couple of changes in a woman's body, they still can't be relied upon to finalize that indeed there is pregnancy. They may feel curious when they feel the changes in their bodies and would have the urge to confirm the reality especially after engaging in unprotected sex.
According to Pregnancy Test Guides, sugar is a key ingredient for home testing of pregnancy and this test is cheaper compared to clinical test. Talking about privacy, this test is done at home and so the results are for you and you alone - nobody else unless you choose to share.
What is the procedure for sugar pregnancy test?
This test involves putting three tablespoonfuls of sugar into a sterilized bowl (white sugar is preferred). Then add your urine or rather urinate directly into the bowl and leave it standing for a while.
What should you expect?
After this procedure, two results should be expected. If the sugar dissolves in the urine to form a solution then it is confirmed that you are not pregnant. But if the sugar fails to dissolve and instead forms clumps then you are pregnant.
How does this test work?
A pregnant woman's urine contains a hormone called Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) which causes the clumping of sugar when the two are mixed. The hormone symbolizes pregnancy.
This test is most effective after two weeks of pregnancy suspicion. Earlier than this may produce negative results.
