If you are suspicious about your HIV status, then you are in the right place. You will get to learn how to test HIV/AIDS at home with your saliva.

Usually, antibodies are detected in the blood when a person is HIV positive and vice versa to HIV negative people. With regard to saliva, it has the same effect as blood.

In this case, ensure that you have an OraQuick alias oral swab and a test tube . Gather antibodies in the saliva by swiping the test swab along your upper gums once and your lower gums once. Afterwards, insert the swab in a test-tube and wait for at least 20 minutes to interpret the result.

On the device, there are two letters, C and T. If C-Line turns dark it confirms the test is working properly. Nevertheless, if a C-Line does not appear, the test is not working.

If only C-Line appears, the test is negative. However, if T and C-line appear on the device, then you are HIV positive.
