Hair is one of the most important parts of our body that needs to be kept clean always. Adhere to the following steps when washing your natural hair.
1. Shampoo
The first step to washing your hair is shampooing. Your hair is delicate so get the gentlest shampoo you can find to meet your hair’s needs. Use it sparingly because for natural hair, it usually leads to dryness. A good parable and sulfate free shampoo is ideal for your natural hair
2. Conditioner
The shampoo makes your scalp clean but a good conditioner keeps your hair healthy. Many people tend to skip this step but it is compulsory to condition your hair. If you don’t have the conditioner with you, you should skip your wash until it is available because this is a necessary step that should not be ignored.
3. Leave in conditioner
Once many people wash their hair and condition it, they see no need for a leave-in conditioner. Leave in conditioners are useful because they control frizzy and fly away hair, de-tangling and adding more moisture. The leave conditioners make hair soft and easy to manage and also act as barriers to direct and indirect hair drying and styling techniques.
4. Drying
Instead of going to the salon for blow drying you can dry your hair naturally with a towel or t-shirt. This does not bring any heat to your hair which would cause drying by stripping off the moisture that was captured with the conditioners. If you have time, opt for the natural method of drying instead of blow drying your hair.
