The 54th Jamhuri Day celebration which was held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in Uasin Gishu county was led by Governor Jackson Mandago. The event which was held in Eldoret at 64 stadium, was also attended by the National government officials and Mandago's deputy Daniel Chemno. During his speech, the county boss thanked the people of Uasin Gishu County for maintaining peace before, during and after voting on 8th August and 26 October. Mandago also reiterated his commitment to see Uasin Gishu residents get clean reliable water across the county.The Jubilee governor further shared his comprehensive plan of improving regular and agro-businesses by extending affordable loans through County Enterprise Fund with as little as 5% interest per annum.
