Muluka was speaking on Tuesday on national TV where he addressed what he felt was the stumbling block to the ongoing negotiations to put to bed the matter of doctor' strike.

The analyst said the doctors were engaged in the negotiation with an element of intimidation.

"You can't negotiate with a party that has an extraordinary advantage over you when an axe is swinging over your head," said Muluka.

Muluka went further to reveal the biggest impediment to doctor's strike.

"The President must intervene in the doctor's issue and institute a process that excludes Muraguri and CS Cleophas Mailu," he said.

The doctor's strike has been going on for more than two months.
