[Photo: PSCU]President Uhuru Kenyatta has said no Jubilee supporter should miss to vote on August 8 to ensure the party wins decisively.He said this as he rallied supporters in the populous North Rift counties of Uasin Gishu and Elgeyo Marakwet, Saturday.Uhuru, who started his tour of the region with a rally in Chesongoch in Elgeyo Mrakwet County, ended the day with a campaign drive from Kipkarren through Ziwa, Turbo and Jua Kali before finally addressing mammoth crowds of supporters in Eldoret town.“No Jubilee supporter should miss to vote on August 8th. We want the turnout to be so high that we win by 8am,” the president said when he addressed supporters in Jua Kali.Uhuru and his Deputy William Ruto, who teamed up in the afternoon after leading twin campaign tours covering different parts of the region, rallied supporters to ensure the president is re-elected with a decisive win and Jubilee continues controlling clear majorities in all other elective positions.The two leaders said Jubilee would win the elections because it had kept the promises they made to Kenyans.He urged residents of the two counties to foster peace and harmony. He urged leaders not to engage in politics that might lead to tensions."When we started our journey together after we had a problem in this region we came here to Eldoret and we declared in one voice that no blood will be spilled or property destroyed because of politics and we have kept that vow,” said the president.
