Details are emerging on how President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto's fixers are planning to deal with the Opposition's threat of swearing in Raila Odinga.
Accordong to a leaked strategy plan seen by the Sunday Standard, Jubilee Party intends to downplay NASA leader Raila Odinga’s Tuesday swearing in and make a mockery of it.
Strategists have crafted solid missiles to throw at the swearing in and make it a seem useless.
First, the advisers want government not to crack down the function but instead release its propaganda mandarins who will paint the event a child's play.
“There are many presidents of many associations in Kenya – including the children’s parliament, Team Mafisi, boy child, etc. There is nothing wrong with Raila swearing himself as President of an association,” says the plan which was crafted on Wednesday at the Jubilee Party headquarters, according to the Sunday Standard.
Jubilee's propaganda machinery will be tasked to come up with a mockery of Raila and his liutenants taking the oath of office. The mockery should paint the exercise such a foolish idea to be done by a person of Raila's calibre.
“Social media should design a graphic to poke fun at Raila swearing-in,” says the Jubilee plan.
Jubilee will also use Kalonzo Musyoka's absence, NASA governor's working scedules and Kenyans activities to show that people moved on after a prolonged political season.
The point is to paint Raila as loneranger or busy body out to keep Kenyans glued to political courses.
