Jubilee leadership deliberately delayed attending a meeting scheduled by IEBC in which NASA was also to attend, says Kalonzo Musyoka.
Opposition leaders were kept waiting for an hour in IEBC offices before they decided to storm out after Jubilee representatives failed to turnout.
A tough speaking Musyoka claimed that President Uhuru Kenyatta is keen to sabotage the talks due to his preferences in some officials NASA wants to kick out.
“It is not a secret that they convened their PG meeting with knowledge that they were needed at IEBC offices. They just delayed so that we could give up and go.
“To see that they were monitoring our movements, William Ruto came immediately we left. They fear facing us and wants to work with commissioners that we have issues with,” he said.
But in a quick rejoinder, Ruto dismissed claims that they had deliberately delayed attending the meeting adding that the PG meeting took longer than they had expected.
“It is untrue to claim that we never wanted to come. It is only that we took long hours in the meeting than we thought,” he told reporters.
