Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria is a guy who has been attacked from all sides due to his stand on issues he is not in agreement with.
His stand has led to his being baptised a 'tribal bigot'. Recently, he has publicly claimed that Cord is trying to seek power through the backdoor. This is a claim that any one not engaging in the weekly protests agrees with.
But why is Cord protesting weekly for the disbanding of IEBC? The demonstrations are being held but most of the demonstrators may not be knowing why they are demonstrating. The weekly feed of teargas and 'rungus' may just be a political stunt by Cord to try and gain sympathy from all corners of the world.
Moses Kuria has written to UN Secretary General, Ban Ki Moon, requesting for a one on one meeting where he can elaborately expound on his claims.
This is a right by the lawmaker considering Kenya is a country with leaders who are always blind to the truth and currently Cord is acting in ways dangerous to the common 'mwananchi'.
Kuria may be a 'tribal bigot' but he has something of national concern at the moment. The year 2007 was a time this country bled but a repeat of that should not be experienced after the 2017 general elections.
He should be given a chance to air his views because this country is bigger than an individual and Cord should use other means to resolve the IEBC issue.
