Residents who have been having a rough time getting government services will now be served at a Huduma Centre in Nyamira.
The centre was opened by county commissioner Josphine Onunga on Monday.
Speaking during the occasion, Onunga said every citizen has a right of receiving services from public offices saying that all public service employees who will be involved in corrupt deals risk losing their jobs.
"As we commence rendering services to the public, let me warn any public service employee who will be involved in corrupt deals they will lose their jobs," Onunga warned.
Jackline Otwori who represented the national government said that locals will benefit from the centre thus urging them to take advantage of services offered there.
“The locals are going to benefit from the centre. Different officials from different departments will be serving here starting Tuesday," said Otwori.
