A poor road network and lack of communication in some areas in Garissa County have been cited as a major challenge for Huduma outreach programmes.
Speaking during a procession in Garissa town on Friday, Garissa Huduma Center manager Margaret Mureithi said they have been taking services to different towns across the county.
"Poor roads and mobile network connection has hindered our efforts to take our services to interior areas in the county", she said.
Mureithi said they decided to take services closer to people since most people in the county are unaware of the services being offered at the Huduma Center.
She noted that it is a government police to to offer mobile services to far areas.
