Hull City coach Nigel Adkins on Saturday said he will consider signing Gor Mahia players if they impress him during Sunday’sfriendly match.
“Kerr has asked me to look out for some quality lads in his team and you never know what might come out of it. Overall, there is no pressure, this is an opportunity to grow Kenyan football and play football,” said Adkins during an interview with Daily Nation.
The former Southampton and Reading manager said his charges are keen to experience a completely different assignment when they take on Gor Mahia.
The coach said he was looking to recruit new players ahead of next season as some players who were at Hull City on loan had left the club while others were out of contract.
Adkins will miss the services of up to eight players, including Sebastian Larson and Jackson, who have been excused to start preparing with their respective national teams for the Fifa World Cup in Russia.
Jarrod Bowen, who is Hull’s top scorer this season with 11 goals, will be the player to watch out for in attack. Former ManchesterUnited and Crystal Palace forward Fraizer Campbell could also feature.
